I'm looking for a fic where maria's mother had been killed by a car, causing Maria to become dumb. Only Michael can confort her. They live together in Maria's house, running the aien shop whereas Michael become a scultor or something like that.

Frankly in Season 3 the only glimmer of hope for human nature was the parents, these two especially. They weren't perfect. They resorted to spying on their kids. But they cared, and had reasons for everything they did, and they did their best. Finding out that their kids are Aliens didn't faze them.

The whole time, they obviously cared for one another, too.

No wonder Isabel wanted to tell them!

No wonder Isabel wants a 'normal' (eg, like that of her parents) married...
